Out and about with the whole family
Every Wednesday afternoon from 1 to 5 pm, families with (young) children are especially welcome at the castle. In addition to the regular activity, where you scamper through the castle mouse Arnoldus and complete several challenges, you can take a breather in the Knights' Hall. The Hall is specially laid out on Family Days for the benefit of our youngest visitors to the castle. Booklets, wooden blocks, knight figurines, ... we provide fun educational materials to spark kids' imaginations in this special place. Take time to look at the scenes on the murals, they illustrate the history of the castle. Or snuggle up on a rug with the whole family. The ceiling looks even more imposing from there.... there is so much to see! Unforgettable moments in a unique historical setting? Check!
